Job Summary

We're seeking a talented Continuous Improvement Leader to join our team at our Battle Creek Plant. As a key member of our plant leadership team, you'll drive improvements in safety, food safety, service, financial results, quality, and employee engagement.

You'll lead the plant-wide cost savings program to meet annual targets, identifying, validating, coaching, and executing projects. Additionally, you'll lead the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metric and process, maintaining measurement standards, facilitating improvement plans and strategies, training, coaching, and monthly reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to drive business results.
  2. Lead the plant-wide cost savings program to meet annual targets.
  3. Lead the OEE metric and process, maintaining measurement standards and facilitating improvement plans and strategies.
  4. Deploy and coach Lean practices, 5S, Kaizen, AM (Autonomous Maintenance), and Kellogg Work Systems tools across all levels of the organization.
  5. Identify process inefficiencies and lead activities using cross-functional resources to deliver business results.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in technical or business field with manufacturing experience in project and process management/extensive exposure in process improvement in packaging manufacturing environment preferred.
  • A history of driving projects to focus on building sustainable processes to improve OEE and driving improvement through SMED Methodologies.
  • Experienced with Daily Direction Setting for a team to implement improvements in processes and people.
  • Well-versed in working with Operations and Training Departments to ensure progression of Operations Team members as well as mentoring Operations team members in manufacturing equipment concepts and processes.
