Job Summary

The Retail Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for unloading and checking in daily inventory shipments, preparing returns and outgoing inventory, and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the store warehouse and exterior loading area. This role will also involve working closely with our Distribution Center staff and Retail staff to ensure inventory accuracy, conducting regular inventory cycle counts, and assisting with general building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Unload and check in daily inventory shipments
  • Prepare returns and outgoing inventory as well as load them onto trucks
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the store warehouse and exterior loading area
  • Work closely with our Distribution Center staff and Retail staff to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and annual physical count of all inventory
  • General building maintenance including light janitorial duties
  • Occasionally assist our home installation team as needed to deliver items to customers' homes

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Regular lifting (up to 50lbs) and occasional heavy lifting (up to 75lbs)
  • Overhead reaching/lifting
  • Ability to navigate a step ladder/regular ladder and stairs
  • Ability to crouch and bend repeatedly, and sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Highly self-motivated

Benefits

Our hourly rate for this position is $14.15/hour, plus up to $200 in monthly incentives and up to $1,000 separate yearly incentive. We also offer a competitive benefit package, a comprehensive wellness program, tuition reimbursement, and discounts on the products we sell.
