Warehouse Loader

The Warehouse Loader is responsible for loading and unloading trucks, third-party trucks, and activities within the parking lot fence. This includes backing up trucks to dock stations, loading customer orders onto trucks, and supporting the Transportation Supervisor and teammates. The Loader will report to the Transportation Supervisor and must have the initiative to execute projects assigned by the direct supervisor or other management.

The Loader will have the opportunity to demonstrate leadership abilities and teamwork. Essential duties include loading and unloading shipments, constant lifting of boxes weighing up to 60 pounds each, and operating stock trucks and mechanical jacks in a safe manner.

The Loader will also prepare products for shipment, hand load product onto trucks, and mark, address, load, and pack products for proper delivery and condition. Additionally, the Loader will pick up, load, and unload damaged goods and customer returns, and complete necessary paperwork.

The Loader must comply with all safety regulations and standards, including transporting products down ramps, stairs, or docks in all weather conditions. The Loader will maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including hand carts, pallets, load bars, and personal protective equipment.

The Loader will also maintain sanitary conditions in the tractor and trailer, assist with maintaining sanitary conditions in the warehouse and yard, and properly handle products.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, 1 year of experience in loading and unloading trucks, and 1 year of forklift and pallet jack experience. The Loader must also pass a DOT physical and possess leadership and initiative to drive projects effectively and in a timely manner.

The Loader will work all shifts and weekends when required and attend all required company meetings. Other duties may be assigned.
