This role is an individual contributor position that operates under standard supervision, tasked with the maintenance, configuration, and management of the enterprise environment that supports Windows servers and operating systems.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Preferred certifications include MCSE, MCP, MCSA, or CompTIA Network +.
  • Experience with at least two of the following software solutions: Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server, Big IP F5 APM/LTM, Legato Networker, Veeam, Exagrid, WSUS, McAfee Epolicy, Proofpoint Email gateway, Network Printing, RSA/Radius, Microsoft SCCM, EMC SourceOne, BMC Track-It, VMware VSphere and SRM, HP SIM, Microsoft Hyper-V, Hewlett-Packard ILO, McAfee DLP, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Sharepoint Server, Solarwinds, Office 365, or other Cloud SaaS offerings.
  • Capability to provide technical on-call support for production environments on a rotating schedule.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements related to network security.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (both client and server).
  • In-depth familiarity with Microsoft Exchange 2013 or newer (including Exchange Online in O365).
  • Proficient in DHCP and Active Directory Hosted DNS.
  • Experience with Microsoft SCCM, WSUS, Active Directory, real-time network monitoring software, mail gateway operations, secure web delivery, VMware technologies, EMC Networker backup and archival solutions, Veeam Backup Software, McAfee E-Policy, Track-It, internet traffic monitoring software, SQL, Unix/Linux, and scripting languages (such as VBScript, Perl, WSH, PowerShell, batch files, etc.).
  • Aptitude for recognizing, identifying, isolating, and resolving issues with both customers and technical teams.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Customer-oriented with the capability to communicate effectively with non-technical users.
