Job Objective

Deliver comprehensive category analysis that supports the strategic goals of Rise Baking Company, focusing on the Foodservice sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, track, and evaluate market and sales data; uncover actionable insights through various sources (such as Technomic, Datassential, Nielsen, and other consumer data platforms) to identify growth opportunities.
  • Utilize market, competitive, and consumer insights in collaboration with Sales to create impactful customer presentations and narratives that highlight potential for expansion.
  • Process data, generate reports, and convert findings into clear tables, graphs, and concise written summaries that effectively communicate insights.
  • Establish, oversee, and sustain essential databases, reports, and analytical tools.
  • Create standardized templates for category reviews to enhance efficiency and drive actionable insights.
  • Participate in all Foodservice-related meetings, events, and exhibitions to network and gather insights on industry trends.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including New Product Development, innovation initiatives, Supply Chain, and Finance on Foodservice projects.
  • Respond to team requirements promptly and effectively.
  • Contribute to food safety initiatives, quality assurance standards, and compliance of manufactured goods.
  • Execute additional job-related tasks as required.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or 3-5 years of equivalent education and experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing analytics, sales support, and project management is preferred.
  • Experience in Fresh Bakery or Fresh Perimeter sectors is advantageous.
  • Detail-oriented with robust analytical, strategic, creative, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities with the agility to adapt to frequent changes.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently while achieving significant results.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Customer-focused mindset.
  • Adept at cross-functional collaboration, articulating complex issues, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in project management, data collection and analysis, and developing innovative solutions to challenges.
  • Eager to learn new concepts and processes and embrace new responsibilities as they arise.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
