OVERVIEW

As a pivotal member of the Oakley team, the Store Manager plays a crucial role in driving the brand's success by fostering an exceptional experience for both internal and external customers. This position is responsible for leading a dedicated team to uphold the Oakley standard of excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Recruit and onboard top talent to fulfill store and organizational requirements.
  • Deliver continuous training and constructive feedback to enhance employee performance.
  • Oversee daily operations to maximize sales and ensure optimal execution of tasks.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards, including product displays and store ambiance.
  • Analyze operational reports to ensure compliance with company policies and monitor profitability.
  • Manage inventory accuracy and oversee related documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies regarding safety, security, and overall store maintenance.
  • Address and resolve issues impacting service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with various staff responsibilities as needed throughout the workday.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 years of retail sales experience in a specialty environment.
  • At least 1 year of experience in retail management.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on relationship building.
  • Proven ability to develop and mentor staff, leveraging their strengths effectively.
  • Physical capability to remain active throughout the day and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Engagement in various physical activities, including bending, lifting, and walking.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with Oakley products and brand ethos.
  • Outgoing personality with a passion for sports.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Compensation is determined by various factors, including experience, qualifications, and local wage standards. A competitive bonus and/or commission structure may also be available, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare, retirement savings, paid time off, and employee discounts.
