GENERAL FUNCTION

The Store Manager plays a crucial role in Oakley's achievements by guiding a team of store associates to foster and uphold the Oakley Experience for both internal and external clients. The Store Manager oversees and directs the workforce, makes staffing choices, guarantees customer satisfaction, manages the store's financial outcomes, and maintains brand integrity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivers outstanding customer service while exhibiting a high level of professionalism.
  • Achieves exceptional sales performance and results.
  • Recruits and selects top talent to fulfill store and organizational requirements.
  • Provides constructive feedback through continuous training, coaching, evaluations, and setting ambitious goals to enhance employee performance.
  • Supervises all employees in executing daily responsibilities to optimize sales.
  • Ensures all visual standards in the store are met, including product presentation, signage, lighting, and overall maintenance.
  • Reviews operational reports and records to confirm compliance with company policies and procedures, monitors store profitability, and manages payroll metrics.
  • Monitors and assesses inventory levels and documentation to ensure accuracy in store inventory.
  • Oversees adherence of Sales Consultants, Specialized Consultants, and Sales Supervisors to established company policies and standards, including the safeguarding of company assets, personnel practices, security, sales, record-keeping procedures, and overall store maintenance.
  • Assists in resolving issues that impact the store's service, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Supports all staff duties as required throughout the workday.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of retail sales experience in a specialized environment.
  • 1+ years of experience in retail management.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written), with a focus on relationship building.
  • Ability to develop and mentor staff, fostering relationships and utilizing their skills effectively.
  • Capability to remain on your feet for extended periods or move throughout the sales floor or stockroom.
  • Ability to handle merchandise and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Physical activities include engaging in repetitive motions, bending, kneeling, twisting, stretching, squatting, pushing, pulling, lifting, climbing, carrying, walking, reaching, and/or using a step stool frequently.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with Oakley and its product offerings.
  • Outgoing, enthusiastic, and sports-oriented individual.
  • Bilingual capabilities.

Employee compensation is determined by various factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage standards. Additionally, competitive bonus and/or commission plans may be offered, complementing a comprehensive total rewards package.
