Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at PeaceHealth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Management: Review and interpret medication orders, ensuring accuracy and appropriateness for each patient.
  • Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Patient Education: Provide clear and concise information to patients and their families about medication use, potential side effects, and other important health information.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of patient care and medication management.
  • Leadership and Training: Supervise and train pharmacy technicians, interns, and externs to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a Pharmacist in the state of Washington or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications.
