Job Title: Site Supervisor/Manager

Job Summary:

The Site Supervisor/Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of office cleaners and custodial personnel assigned to a particular location or zone. This role reports to an Area Manager or Operations Manager and is responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out in a proper and orderly manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign and manage work tasks for office cleaners and custodial personnel.
  • Evaluate the performance of custodial personnel and provide feedback and training as needed.
  • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain a training program for custodial personnel.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with maintenance, purchasing, and other departments.
  • Evaluate and recommend new cleaning products, materials, and equipment.
  • Assign relief custodians to fill in for absentee workers and perform tasks as needed.
  • Maintain records, reports, and other paperwork as required.
  • Develop and maintain a projects list for the project and relief crew.


Requirements:

  • Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Ability to instruct office cleaners in manual tasks requiring moderate strength.
  • Knowledge of mechanical cleaning equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Ability to schedule repairs for equipment.
  • Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with subordinates and management personnel.
