Position Overview:

Compensation:
$22.00 to $37.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:


Your commitment to excellence will shine through in every task you undertake. You will be a collaborative team player, adept at navigating challenges and finding innovative solutions.

Under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer, you will prepare patients for diagnostic imaging procedures by clearly explaining the process and ensuring proper positioning for optimal image capture.

You will proficiently operate imaging equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients' anatomical structures.

Timely completion of necessary requisitions for exams and accurate scheduling will be part of your responsibilities.

Conduct diagnostic Radiographic, Fluoroscopic, and CT examinations on patients, both in the imaging department and using portable equipment.

You will demonstrate the ability to administer IV contrast media when required.

Perform a variety of imaging examinations, reconstructions, and adhere to various printing protocols.


Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic equipment issues to ensure smooth operation of imaging devices.

Communicate effectively with patients, addressing any questions or concerns regarding the imaging process.

Assist in the safe transport of patients to and from the imaging department as needed.

Maintain inventory levels by ordering necessary supplies.

Participate in required training sessions and orientations.

Collaborate closely with nursing staff to foster positive relationships that enhance patient care.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Imaging Specialist (excluding educational training)

Must possess ARRT or CMRT certification.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required by the start date.

Must maintain current Continuing Education in all licensure areas.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with facility-specific imaging equipment is advantageous.
