As a Medical Imaging Specialist (Radiologic Technologist), you will play a vital role in delivering all radiology services while also performing essential nursing tasks as required. Your primary focus will be on ensuring patient comfort and fostering a supportive atmosphere while collaborating with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and clinical staff.

Position Details:
Status: Part-Time
Schedule: One 12-hour shift per week

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct precise X-ray examinations as directed by healthcare providers while adhering to radiation safety protocols.
  • Prepare and send images to radiologists for review and communicate results to the appropriate medical personnel.
  • Manage and archive radiographic reports, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Accurately collect patient data during clinical intake, including vital signs and medical history.
  • Assist patients with mobility, specimen collection, and preparation for examinations.
  • Handle patient referrals and follow-up calls as necessary.

Required Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current licensure and accreditation by ARRT and state regulations, if applicable.
  • Ongoing CEU/CME maintenance as required for licensure.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in urgent care settings.
  • Proficiency in venipuncture and lab specimen collection.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients, including vital sign assessment and electronic medical record documentation.
