About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Automation Service Specialist to join our team at MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions. As a key member of our controls operations team, you will be responsible for repairing, configuring, and maintaining building automation systems (BAS) that control HVAC, lighting, and other critical building functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • System monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance for energy efficiency
  • Conducting routine maintenance, performing repairs, and providing technical support to clients
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Staying up to date with industry advancements and providing training to building staff on system operations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A track record of understanding of air-conditioning principles, systems, and commercial HVAC mechanical equipment
  • Expertise in job site safety requirements, including WISHA/OSHA and OROSHA/OSHA
  • A two-year degree or other education or experience by which a reasonable understanding of HVAC and control systems with an emphasis on direct digital control systems has been gained
  • Experience in platforms such as Niagara, Siemens, Johnson Controls/JCI, Alerton, and Trane
