Role Summary
The selected candidate will be positioned based on their qualifications and experience. This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, requiring advanced technical knowledge and the ability to work autonomously.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize extensive technical knowledge to serve as a consultant in specialized areas.
- Undertake complex assignments that necessitate the creation of new methodologies and processes.
- Act as the primary technical liaison on projects, collaborating with senior personnel on significant technical issues.
- Operate with minimal supervision, exercising considerable discretion in achieving project objectives.
- Oversee and guide engineers and support staff, ensuring effective task delegation and project coordination.
Essential Duties
- Demonstrate advanced technical skills by applying engineering principles to lead projects of varying sizes and complexities.
- Independently develop new techniques and standards while supporting the creation of technical documentation.
- Provide field engineering oversight for activities such as testing, installation, and commissioning.
- Coordinate multiple projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
- Serve as the primary technical contact during bid evaluations and proposal assessments.
Qualifications
Senior Engineer Level:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
- EIT/FE certification is required.
Principal Engineer Level:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
- At least 9 years of relevant engineering experience.
- PE registration is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven project management experience is highly desirable.
