Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Principal to join our Building Engineering Services Group in Denver, CO. This dynamic individual will lead engineering teams, represent HDR in the engineering community, and participate in project interviews, proposal language, and fee assembly. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maximizing sustainability within project constraints while exceeding performance expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, and monitor large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high technical complexity.
  • Establish client relations and participate in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings.
  • Coordinate staffing and workload of staff through entire project development to complete documents on schedule.
  • Conduct schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions at project sites.
  • Implement QA/QC procedures and execute training for personnel as established.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
  • 10 years in the design of engineering systems for large complex buildings.
  • PE required.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
