In this position, you will work in close collaboration with our marketing division to craft captivating online experiences and bolster the effectiveness of our digital marketing strategies through the utilization of cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with our digital marketing team to grasp project specifications, objectives, and targets pertinent to the various business sectors within Generac.
  • Design, develop, and sustain high-caliber web applications leveraging the .NET 6 framework, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Implement visually appealing front-end designs and user interfaces that resonate with Generac's brand identity and digital marketing objectives.
  • Employ Optimizely CMS for streamlined content management and dynamic website experiences.
  • Integrate web applications with systems such as SAP and Salesforce, along with various marketing technologies, including analytics tools and email marketing platforms, adhering to Optimizely CMS 12 best practices.
  • Enhance web applications for optimal performance, responsiveness, and search engine optimization (SEO) to elevate our online visibility.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging to guarantee seamless functionality across diverse browsers, devices, and platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, content creators, and marketing analysts, to deliver cohesive digital experiences.
  • Stay informed about emerging web development trends, tools, and technologies to propose enhancements and foster innovation in our digital marketing efforts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to web applications and marketing integrations to ensure a smooth user experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in an agile development environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a .NET Web Developer, showcasing web applications or projects utilizing the .NET framework.
  • Familiarity with web services and APIs (REST, SOAP) for integrations with marketing platforms.
  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and associated Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and related frameworks.
  • Knowledge of database systems, particularly Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address technical issues.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience with Optimizely CMS.
  • Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices.
  • Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization.
  • Experience in an Agile development environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of web accessibility standards.
  • Comprehension of digital marketing principles and concepts.
  • A robust portfolio demonstrating successful web development projects.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally and audibly; utilize hands to manipulate objects or controls; and frequently stand and walk. Occasionally, the employee may need to stoop, bend, or reach above shoulder height. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. The specific conditions of this role are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work, necessitating periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel may be required.
