We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our team at Pyramid Consulting, Inc. This is a contract position with a 12+ month commitment and offers long-term potential.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to investment professionals, plan sponsors, and members. This includes responding to incoming calls, interpreting and applying product changes, and maintaining accurate records of conversations.
Key Responsibilities:- Initial training period of 6 weeks, with a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
- Post-training schedule will be hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
- Variable schedule, with shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM EST, Monday – Friday.
- Class starts on October 14, 2024.
- Receives and responds to incoming calls from investment professionals, plan sponsors, and members.
- Interprets and applies all changes and enhancements to new and old products.
- Maintains accurate records of conversations and follows a process of documentation.
- Ensures compliance with FINRA or other professional licensure requirements, client policies, firms, plan documents, and state and local laws.
- Educates customers on tax implications, penalties/surrender charges, death benefit protection, lifetime income, capital preservation, and benefits pertaining to the plan/contract.
- Analyzes problems to determine proper course of action and strives for first-time final resolution.
- Key Skills: Insurance, Finance, Spanish.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Undergraduate degree in finance, business administration, insurance, economics, communications preferred.
- ChFC, CLU, other industry designations desirable FINRA series 6 and/or 26 licenses preferred and may be required based on assigned product/line-of-business or distribution system.
- One year of experience in customer service, sales-related occupations.
- Knowledge of various insurance products and the sales process.
- Solid understanding of state and local laws necessary to understand the legal implications of certain product features in different states.
- Understands the consequences of not following FINRA rules and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with others.
- Proficiency with computers and common office software.
- Ability to understand general aspects of plan/contract and utilize technology to enhance conversations with customers.
