At LHH Recruitment Solutions, we are seeking a skilled Transportation and Safety Coordinator to join our team in Nashville, TN. This role is essential for maintaining the safety and compliance of fleet operations.

Job Overview

This position requires a dedicated individual to ensure a secure and efficient working environment. Key responsibilities include instructing drivers on daily reporting tasks, keeping comprehensive records of compliance with EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations, and performing regular inspections of facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct drivers on vehicle inspections, hours of service logs, incident documentation, and other necessary reports.
  • Compile and submit required documentation for Federal, State, and internal purposes.
  • Perform regular inspections of facilities, focusing on safe work practices among all staff.
  • Foster and uphold a culture of safety.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a safety-related role.
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience and training.
  • Preferred experience with OSHA and FMCSA regulations.
Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $24-$26 per hour, along with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan. You may also be eligible for paid leave, holiday pay, and other benefits as required by law.
