We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Catholic Health Initiatives. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiological exams at a technical level, ensuring the safe and proper operation of radiological equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform radiological exams, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Operate and maintain radiological equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
- Prepare patients for exams, explaining procedures and answering questions.
- Position patients correctly for exams, using proper techniques to minimize radiation exposure.
- Develop and process radiographic images, ensuring high-quality results.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and exam results.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in radiologic technology.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Registration in Diagnostic Radiology through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
- Current ARRT certification required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- ARRT certification in Mammography or certification eligible.
$26.38 - $38.26 per hour.
