Job Title: Diagnostic Radiology Technologist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiological exams, including emergency room, surgery, and fluoroscopy procedures.
  • Assume responsibility for the safe and proper operation of radiological equipment.
  • Identify and verify patient identity and physician orders for requested exams.
  • Explain procedures to patients, ensuring their cooperation and understanding.
  • Complete each assigned exam, including room setup, paperwork, and previous films, to ensure accurate interpretation by the radiologist.
  • Collaborate with fellow technologists and staff to provide efficient patient service.
  • Participate in the training of X-ray students, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure their growth and development.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Registration in Diagnostic Radiology through the ARRT.
  • Current ARRT certification.
  • Current AHA BLS certification.
  • Two years of prior experience in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Proven experience in Customer Service.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ARRT in Mammography or certification eligible.
