We are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team. As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, ensuring the smooth operation of HR-related tasks and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Directs periodic communication to plant employees from Corporate HR and Payroll Departments throughout the year;
- Provides written communications to employees in a confidential manner;
- Provides Corporate HR and Payroll with employee file documents in a timely manner;
- Reviews all employee paperwork to ensure it is complete before turning it over to the Corporate HR office for processing;
- Maintains plant bulletin board, ensuring that required postings are in place and up to date;
- Provides assistance to employees with medical insurance issues;
- Provides payroll assistance when needed;
- Provides assistance to plant management as necessary;
- Facilitates company communication via email, telephone, and other means;
- Rotates to other team positions as deemed necessary;
- Maintains good housekeeping practices;
- Prepares Plant Credit Card DEEM reports monthly;
- Maintains any petty cash on site;
- Leads the Mentor Program onsite;
- Maintains onsite driver logs, DVIR, and driver files;
- Maintains fuel charges, fuel receipts, and quarterly reports for accounting;
- Coordinates Volunteer Events for corporate initiatives;
- Maintains WIT program and team recognition programs;
- Coordinates monthly plant meetings;
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in office management, receptionist, or front desk assistance;
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a role requiring strong computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook);
- Ability to multitask with different requirements applying to the position;
