Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Guest Service Representative to join our team at LEGOLAND Parks. As a Guest Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless experience for our visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check house status and ensure that stock is sufficient for the expected business within the covered shift and/or for the day.
  • Obtain a briefing from the previous shift on outstanding matters requiring further attention.
  • Prepare all necessary documents (key cards, welcome folders, etc.) to facilitate check-in.
  • Perform check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Acknowledge and welcome guests as soon as they enter the hotel lobby area.
  • Assist guests with their queries and provide information on hotel facilities and services.

Specialized Instructions:

  • Assist guests in completing registration and review entries to ensure important details are included.
  • Direct guests to the appropriate lifts and coordinate with Bell staff to bring guests' luggage to the room.
  • Review shift reports and ensure that all tasks are completed.
  • Check in guests according to procedure and handle room keys according to established protocols.
  • Be alert and ready to provide immediate attention to approaching guests.
  • Be discreet when giving guests' names and room numbers.
  • Attend departmental meetings and training programs as requested by management.
  • Report any guest complaints to the Guest Service Assistant Manager immediately.
  • Check out guests and ensure that they settle all bills upon departure.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by the immediate manager.

Requirements:

  • Familiarize yourself with all necessary operational components, including Kiosk, ALICE, Radios, Opera, Key System (VingCard), and Google Nest.
  • Be able to recommend food and beverage outlets and their operational times to guests.
  • Report for duty on time, wearing the correct uniform and name tag.
  • Maintain a consistently high level of professional appearance.
  • Ensure that all Risk Assessment hazards are complied with.

Lost and Found:

  • Be aware of Lost and Found procedures at all times.
  • Immediately report and turn over lost and found items.
  • Inform the Guest Service Assistant Manager if valuables are left in the open.

Care of Equipment:

  • Ensure proper maintenance of equipment in the area of assignment.
  • Report any malfunction or maintenance deficiencies to the appropriate area.

Others:

  • Extend fullest cooperation to working colleagues and coordinate with the Guest Services Assistant Manager, Bell/Valet Service, and all other departments within the hotel.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the Kiosk area at all times.

Communication:

  • Interact with other departments to provide additional or specialized guest services.

HSS:

  • Ensure internal compliance with maintenance, safety, and security procedures by following established ASTM, NEC, NSF, OSHA, state, and local codes.
  • Ensure full compliance with policies and procedures set forth within the Health, Safety & Security in the workplace and in line with the Merlin Entertainments Group Policy.
  • Understand risk assessments within your workplace and ensure reporting of any new risks to the appropriate manager.
  • Comply with safe working procedures for work activities within your job role, cognizant of the effects on others prior to the activity/function.
  • In cases of incidents or accidents, ensure appropriate reporting is done in a timely manner to the duty manager.

Pay Range: USD $17.64/Hr.
