Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Respiratory Care Assistant to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients in navigating their health journey, utilizing best scientific evidence and compassion to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care, adhering to current policies, procedures, and licensure requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and their support systems, fostering a safe and personalized care environment.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED, required. Enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Care Associate Degree program approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care; maintains a minimum 2.0 GPA, required.
  • Completed 1st year of Respiratory Care Associate Degree Program. Demonstrated competencies verified by the educational institution for the procedures defined in the revised declaratory ruling by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board, required.
  • Registration as an RCA with the NC Respiratory Care Board, required. BLS, required. ACLS, PALS, NRP; preferred.
