Overview:

Role Summary

  • Administers comprehensive respiratory care in accordance with physician directives and established protocols.
  • Engages with medical professionals regarding the efficacy of treatments and provides suitable recommendations.
  • Delivers necessary ventilatory assistance and oversees the operation of other critical cardiopulmonary support apparatus.
  • Ensures the proper maintenance and utilization of respiratory therapy equipment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers as per American Heart Association standards.
  • Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS.
  • Therapists must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in NICU and PICU settings.
  • Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Care program.
  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent RRT credentials required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
