Pipefitter - New England Professional

Sagamore is seeking experienced pipefitters to join its team in Southern / Seacoast NH.
Compensation$35.00 - $45.00 DOE, plus comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Key Responsibilities- Design, install, and maintain piping systems composed of various materials; systems may include pipes, pressure and vacuum gauges, pipeline filters, steam traps, and strainer valves.
- Consult blueprints, work orders, schematics, or instructions; create working procedures based on specifications.
- Gather equipment and materials for the job.
- Weld, cut, bend, thread, solder, and fit pipes.
- Attach pipes and piping systems to walls using brackets, bracket systems, or clamps; cut or bore holes prior to project.
- Install various types of insulation and pipe covering; safely remove and properly discard old coverings according to hazardous waste procedures and in accordance with EPA and OSHA requirements.
- Inspect pipes, test for pressure and leaks; report and/or resolve problems.
- Coordinate with manager to schedule machinery maintenance, repairs, and installation to minimize disruption to operations.
- Comply with applicable safety and building codes, regulations and best practices.
- Maintain records, including safety logs and inspection details.
- Successful completion of a four-year apprenticeship that included classroom and on-the-job instruction in pipefitting or related field.
- Required state licenses.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
- Ability to use a variety of tools, which may include blowtorches, saws, pipe benders, and welding torches.
- Prior commercial experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull in excess of 50 pounds.
- OSHA Certified.
