About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse to join our team as a Care Coordinator. In this role, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide individualized care to patients, families, and caregivers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient care services, including scheduling appointments, administering treatments, and monitoring patient progress.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on treatment options, side effects, and coping strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions of care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Nurse within the state of New Hampshire or a Compact License with the State of Maine required.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • OCN Certification Preferred.
  • Two years of Hematology/Chemotherapy/Oncology nursing experience preferred.
  • ONS Chemotherapy & Bio-therapy Certification required or have the ability to get certification within one year of employment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff.

Salary and Benefits

$85,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience. Comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan and paid time off.
