POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Finance will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the organization, developing strategic financial plans, and overseeing all accounting activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and work collaboratively with stakeholders to create effective budget plans.
  • Formulate and sustain financial strategies aligned with project goals and organizational mission.
  • Evaluate financial trends, generate income and expense forecasts, and support informed decision-making.
  • Deliver regular financial updates to the Finance Committee and Board of Directors.
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies and internal control measures.
  • Supervise accounting operations and team members.
  • Manage financial reporting and contractual agreements.
  • Oversee audit activities and insurance matters.
  • Maintain banking relationships and account activities.
  • Collaborate with the executive leadership team.
  • Promote teamwork and cultivate professional relationships.
  • Implement evidence-based practices for youth service delivery.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or accounting OR 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in financial management roles.
  • At least 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Familiarity with fund accounting and non-profit management.
  • Expertise in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on the organization’s mission.
  • Inclusive approach to diverse interactions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This role operates under a hybrid model, allowing for a combination of remote and onsite work as necessary, with an initial requirement for onsite presence during training.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The salary range for this position is between $105,000 and $115,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
