  • Transports food items between workstations, stoves, and refrigeration units.
  • Stores food items in designated areas for optimal freshness.
  • Assists in training Cook 3 and utility staff.
  • Manages multiple cooking tasks simultaneously.
  • Maintains cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils, and disposes of waste appropriately.
  • Distributes supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Ensures proper preparation and presentation of all menu items.
  • Reads menus to estimate food requirements and orders supplies accordingly.
  • Dates food containers and rotates stock to ensure freshness.
  • Adheres to safety standards consistently.
  • Collaborates closely with the Room Chef, Sous Chefs, and Cook 1 to meet preparation and presentation standards.
  • Adjusts cooking equipment settings to maintain proper temperatures.
  • Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipes for various dishes.
  • Bakes, roasts, and steams a variety of foods.
  • Season foods appropriately during preparation.
  • Tastes and tests foods to ensure quality and doneness.
  • Carves meats and portions food for service, garnishing as necessary.
  • Bakes various baked goods including bread and pastries.
  • Prepares vegetables and fruits for cooking.
  • Processes proteins such as fish and shellfish correctly.
  • Capable of managing multiple cooking stations effectively.
  • Available for scheduled shifts as required.
  • Familiarity with gaming regulations and internal controls of Bally's Corporation.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful performance in this role requires the ability to meet essential duties effectively. The qualifications listed below represent the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three years of culinary experience, complemented by a certificate or training from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating career progression. Must be at least 18 years of age.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: ServSafe Certification required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and understand simple instructions and correspondence. Capable of writing basic correspondence and effectively presenting information in small group settings.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Proficient in basic arithmetic operations.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Not applicable.

Access to Gaming Facility: Required to navigate between food outlets on the gaming floor.
