Talent Development Specialist II

Deaconess is seeking a highly skilled Talent Development Specialist II to join our team. As a key member of the Human Resources Department, you will play a critical role in fostering a culture of continuous learning, growth, and skill enhancement among employees to drive individual and organizational success.
Job Summary:The Talent Development Specialist II provides support in developing and implementing training programs, workshops, and learning initiatives to support the development of employees at various levels within the organization. This includes creating and delivering training sessions, workshops, or seminars using a variety of delivery methods to cater to different learning styles.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement training programs, workshops, and learning initiatives to support employee development
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, or seminars using various delivery methods
- Create programs specifically aimed at developing leadership skills among managers and high-potential employees
- Collaborate with leadership to identify key positions and individuals for succession planning
- Design and implement performance appraisal processes and systems that align with the company's objectives and values
- Facilitate new hire orientation sessions to familiarize new hires with company policies, culture, values, and expectations
- Work closely with department heads to align talent development initiatives with the organization's overall strategy
- Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources, Educational Technology, Business, or related field
- 3-5+ years' experience in Human Resources, Organizational Learning Management, and public speaking
- Certificate in Learning & Development or related preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
This role requires frequent driving and an annual motor vehicle record check is required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
