Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee local Human Resource operations on a daily basis.
  • Supervise the local Human Resource team.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Recommend policy and procedural changes based on organizational and employee needs.
  • Identify market-specific conditions to enhance talent acquisition and recruitment efforts.
  • Analyze Human Resource trends and metrics to inform leadership decisions, improve employee retention, and support cultural initiatives.
  • Guide local leaders in addressing employee performance challenges, referring to the Corporate Human Resource team as necessary.
  • Advise management on critical discussions regarding compensation, leave, and disciplinary actions in line with policy.
  • Facilitate the exit interview process.
  • Manage compliance with ongoing training and learning requirements.
  • Communicate effectively regarding employee compensation and rewards.
  • Provide guidance on employment policies and procedures to both employees and managers.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws in daily operations.
  • Assist Hiring Managers in selecting and utilizing standardized Job Descriptions/Titles in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Coordinate candidate interviews for open positions.
  • Oversee employee onboarding and orientation, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Foster community relationships to create a robust talent pool.
  • Support employee recognition and reward initiatives.
  • Drive key performance indicators, including Employee Satisfaction/Engagement scores, turnover rates, and compliance metrics.
  • Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise the work of team members, including planning, assigning, and scheduling tasks, reviewing performance, ensuring quality standards, training staff, and overseeing productivity. May provide recommendations for hiring, termination, and pay adjustments, but do not have final authority over these decisions.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree required.

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of HR experience is required, with 1-3 years of healthcare experience preferred.
