Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sanitation Manager to lead our sanitation operations during the third shift in our fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the overall sanitation operations during the third shift, ensuring all areas of the manufacturing facility meet or exceed regulatory and company standards for cleanliness and safety.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain sanitation protocols and procedures in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety regulations.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate sanitation staff to ensure they are following all protocols and procedures correctly.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of the facility to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement in sanitation.
  • Collaborate with other department managers to ensure sanitation standards are met across all areas of the facility.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to any sanitation emergencies or issues that arise during the third shift.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sanitation activities and provide regular reports to upper management.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sanitation role within the food manufacturing industry, preferably in a leadership or management position.
  • Thorough knowledge of GMPs, food safety regulations, and sanitation protocols and procedures.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make critical decisions during off-peak hours.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to sanitation emergencies or issues.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records and provide regular reports.
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in a manufacturing facility.
