Experienced Field Engineer-Wind Specialist

Mortenson is seeking an Experienced Field Engineer-Wind to support and complete the full cycle of field coordination issues with team members, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Pre-Construction support, including managing submittal and RFI processes, evaluating project design and engineering documents, and preparing turnover binder templates.
- Assist with the preparation of Pre-Mobilization Kickoff meetings, compile and arrange for short form subcontracts, and review and utilize the Best Practice Database.
- Manage all aspects necessary for Construction support, including managing quality assurance & quality control, inventory process, and coordinating DFW prep meetings and initial inspections.
- Administer Closeout processes, including compiling turnover documentation and assisting with getting contract documents closed out with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Previous related internship experience a plus.
- Detail orientation sufficient to organize and effectively manage multiple tasks.
- Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices.
- Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven positive and professional attitude and customer service skills.
- Current driver's license.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management.
