Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a proven track record in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all stages of project life cycle management from initiation to completion.
Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
Conduct contract negotiations and manage contracts to ensure all terms are met.
Implement effective cost control measures to ensure projects are completed within budget.
Lead strategic planning sessions to identify project goals, determine budget and timeline, and establish project scope.
Conduct construction estimating to determine project cost and feasibility.
Coordinate with various stakeholders including clients, contractors, and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Identify and manage project risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with all relevant construction standards and regulations.
Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports and project forecasts.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
Proven experience in contract management, scheduling, negotiation, cost control, strategic planning, and construction estimating.
A bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certification will be an added advantage.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management software tools.
Knowledge of construction standards and regulations.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
