The Pre-construction Project Manager will work closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project plans and specifications are accurate and feasible. They will also prepare detailed project proposals and present them to clients and stakeholders. Additionally, they will develop and maintain pre-construction schedules and budgets, evaluate and mitigate potential risks during the pre-construction phase, and collaborate with the construction team and general contractors to ensure a smooth transition from pre-construction to construction phase. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in pre-construction management, specifically in multifamily construction. They will also have proven experience in preparing project proposals and working with general contractors, strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials, excellent leadership and project management skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and proficiency in construction management software. Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) is a plus.
