Position Overview

RDI Technology Partners is a reputable engineering and technology recruitment firm.

We are currently engaged in a critical search for a highly accomplished organization seeking a skilled Technical Pre-Sales Engineer.

This is a permanent, direct-hire W2 opportunity located in the vicinity of the Detroit metropolitan area, offering the flexibility of 5-6 days of remote work each month.

Travel requirements involve a few days per week every 2-3 months. This position closely resembles that of a manufacturing engineer with strong customer engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities

The role necessitates a foundational understanding of FMEA or DFMEA and expertise in plastic injection molding, coupled with substantial experience in product process and manufacturability, as well as product design tailored for clients.

  • Part design
  • Validation testing
  • Failure analysis (FMEA)
  • Customer interaction
  • Simultaneous engineering with manufacturing facilities (both internal and external)
Work Environment

Our client offers a technically stimulating work atmosphere, characterized by a small company culture (working within a compact team), while providing the advantages and robust compensation package typical of a large, established organization.
