Adjunct Faculty Opportunity

The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a highly qualified candidate for an Adjunct Clinical Instructor position in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. As an Adjunct Clinical Instructor, you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of nurses by teaching and mentoring students in a clinical setting. Estimated Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities:
Teach one to two clinical sections per semester at Penn State Hershey Medical Center for the 2024 to 2025 Academic Year. Assess student learning and provide feedback to improve student outcomes. Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of students and aligns with the program's goals. Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure consistency and quality in teaching and learning. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records and reports as required by the university and accreditation agencies.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in nursing or higher is required.
- A current Pennsylvania RN license is required.
- Recent clinical experience is preferred.
