Penn State Health is a multi-hospital health system seeking an Academic Surgical Pathologist for a career opportunity in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

About the Job

As a leading academic medical center, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing healthcare through innovation, collaboration, and education. The successful candidate will join our team of 40 faculty members in Anatomic, Clinical, and Experimental Pathology, contributing to a fully accredited residency program with four ACGME-accredited fellowships.

This role offers the opportunity to practice at our quaternary care hub, the Hershey Medical Center, Cancer Institute, and Children's Hospital, handling approximately 45,000 surgical pathology cases annually. The ideal candidate will possess fellowship training or significant experience in Gastrointestinal/Liver, Breast, Bone & Soft Tissue, and Pediatric Pathology. As part of our team, you will participate actively in undergraduate and graduate medical education, teaching, and clinical research. Board-certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, along with eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania, are required for this position.
