Job Summary:
As a Guest Service Agent at Charter Senior Living, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless stay. Your role will involve registering guests, assigning rooms, and accommodating special requests whenever possible. You will also be responsible for verifying guest payment methods and following established credit-checking procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Register guests and assign rooms, taking into account special requests and preferences.
2. Verify guest payment methods and follow established credit-checking procedures.
3. Maintain accurate records of guest information and room assignments.
4. Communicate effectively with guests, housekeeping, and other hotel staff to ensure a smooth stay.
5. Use suggestive selling techniques to promote hotel services and amenities.
6. Process guest check-outs and post charges to guest accounts.
7. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including the handling of mail, packages, and messages.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required. 3+ years of hotel operations experience preferred. Must have developed language skills to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively to customers and employees. Must be able to work effectively in a stressful environment and communicate well with others.
