Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Office Administrator to join our team at the York City School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to staff members, including answering phones, responding to emails, and preparing documents.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and files, including personnel records, attendance records, and student registration.
  • Coordinate and manage the purchase order process, including ordering supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with the administration of medications, including communicating with the school nurse and sending notifications to parents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Three years of secretarial experience required.
  • Typing and data entry proficiency.
  • Ability to interact with others in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Act 34, Act 151, and FBI clearance (self-paid).
  • Act 126 and Act 71 certifications.
  • Pre-employment drug testing (self-paid).
  • Letter of interest, resume, and application directly through the district website.
