Veterinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to provide technical support in our Veterinary Teaching Hospital. The successful candidate will assist clinicians and students in patient care, maintain records, and perform various tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain daily patient records and accurately reflect patient charges and medical records.
- Order, track, and maintain supplies of pharmaceuticals and consumable inventory.
- Teach and lead students in the professional degree program.
- Work effectively in a team environment and communicate with clinicians and students.
- Associate's Degree from an American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) accredited school of veterinary technology or equivalent education and experience.
- Licensed as a Veterinary Technician in the State of Washington within six months of hire.
- Meet the required criteria to be eligible to sit for the Washington State veterinary technician exam and pass the exam the first time it is available.
- Pass WSU radiation safety training exam first time it is available.
- Experience training and teaching students, interns, and residents in specialty practice or hospital, or in academic practice.
The salary range for this position is $3,643 to $6,384 per month, depending on the level of experience and qualifications.
