As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Northwell Health | GoHealth Urgent Care, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, working alongside Medical Providers and Medical Assistants to provide exceptional patient care. This role requires professional judgment to apply x-ray energy for diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups.

You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration of diagnostic imaging services into patient care management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants through various tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication.
  • Exercise professional judgment to provide health care services, which include applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups starting at six months of age to the elderly.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of GoHealth Urgent Care Centers.
What You'll Do for Our Patients
  • Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants through various tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication.
  • Exercise professional judgment to provide health care services, which include applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups starting at six months of age to the elderly.

Requirements
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required.
  • Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Valid State Driver's License.
  • Must pass MVR background check.
