About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Northwell Health - GoHealth Urgent Care. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in a fast-paced urgent care environment.

Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist (RT) works with Medical Providers and/or Medical Assistants to examine and treat GoHealth Urgent Care patients. This role is responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures and applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. You will analyze patient x-rays and report results to Medical Providers, ensuring accurate and timely diagnoses.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants through various tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication.
  • Exercise professional judgment to provide health care services, including applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups starting at six months of age to the elderly.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of GoHealth Urgent Care Centers.
Requirements
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required.
  • Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Valid State Driver's License.
  • Must pass MVR background check.
