Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Court Supervisor I to join our team at the Colorado Judicial Branch. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for supervising and overseeing the daily operations of a designated team/employees within the Clerk's Office or court division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and monitor the performance of assigned staff, including providing input on hiring/disciplinary actions and work objectives/effectiveness, performance evaluations, and realigning work as needed.
  • Provide input on policy development and updates processes to new rules and legislation.
  • Provide internal and external customer service and respond to requests and concerns. Serve as a point of contact and coordinates changes in court operations.
  • Prepare court documents and reports. Monitor, review, and provide efficient and effective case processing.
  • Perform administrative functions including case management data entry, reviewing case entries, providing advanced research on complex cases, processing warrants, and balancing accounts receivable.
  • Identify and complete projects that strengthen the Court's ability to effectively serve the community. Participate in committee work and management meetings.
  • Complete required trainings and attend meetings as requested.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • Three (3) years of experience in court, legal, or administrative services.
  • Advanced skills and extensive knowledge of work.
Work Environment

This position will be based in an office or similar indoor environment. The work environment is relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions and/or hazards.
