Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Court Supervisor I to join our team at the Colorado Judicial Branch. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and administrative skills to oversee the daily operations of a designated team/employees within the Clerk's Office or court division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and oversee the daily operations of a designated team/employees, including assigning and prioritizing work, providing guidance and coaching, participating in hiring and termination, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Provide input on policy development and updates processes to new rules and legislation.
  • Provide internal and external customer service and respond to requests and concerns, serving as a point of contact and coordinating changes in court operations.
  • Prepare court documents and reports, monitor, review, and provide efficient and effective case processing.
  • Perform administrative functions, including case management data entry, reviewing case entries, providing advanced research on complex cases, processing warrants, and balancing accounts receivable.
  • Monitor and schedule juror summons and respond to juror correspondence and requests.
  • Identify and complete projects that strengthen the Court's ability to effectively serve the community, participate in committee work and management meetings, and complete required trainings and attend meetings as requested.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • Three (3) years of experience in court, legal, or administrative services.
  • Advanced skills and extensive knowledge of work, including the ability to handle complex tasks and translate complex nuances related to aspects of the job.
Work Environment

This position is located in an office or similar indoor environment and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
