Warehouse Operations Manager

Are you a motivated and organized individual looking for a challenging role in warehouse management? We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at Wis-Pak As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for directing the operational activities of the Warehouse, including scheduling, training, and supervising warehouse employees.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Understand, follow, and enforce all established safety, health, quality, Food Safety, GMP, and Company policies, procedures, and recognized practices.
  • Assist in training warehouse employees and provide leadership and direction to warehouse employees.
  • Monitor and report performance of each assigned warehouse employee and prioritize, coordinate, and assign daily warehouse work to department staff.
  • Ensure that employees fully understand and correctly complete the work assigned and record problems and provide detailed documentation of solution and/or procedures performed.
  • Process all other necessary reports and ensure warehouse equipment and inventory are maintained.
  • Ensure that the warehouse is kept in an orderly fashion and follows all government agencies and company standards for safety and sanitation.
  • Communicate with outside vendors on details pertaining to shipping and receiving and on maintenance and repairs of material and equipment.

**Requirements:**

  • Requires education generally equivalent to four years of high school and five years of experience in a warehouse environment to become familiar with products, equipment, and processes.
  • Requires the ability to train and guide employees and ensure quality performance and standards.
  • Good leadership, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
  • Requires the ability to operate a forklift and to obtain a forklift operator's license.

**Salary:** $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
