Job Title: Logistics Manager

Sofidel America Corp. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations and logistics management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in all processes.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize transportation routes, minimize costs, and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Manage stock levels and maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
  • Lead, train, and supervise a team of warehouse staff, promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all warehouse activities comply with Sofidel's safety standards, OSHA regulations, and other industry requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as warehouse performance, inventory levels, transportation costs, and delivery times.
  • Manage and control the warehouse budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Proven experience managing warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and transportation logistics.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing diverse teams.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for warehouse environments.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in budget management and cost optimization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).
  • Experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of international shipping, customs regulations, and experience in global supply chain management.
