Responsibilities:- Coordinate and plan systems integration activities on the flight vehicle, ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with engineering data, manufacturer's publications, and FAA guidelines.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain airship subsystems, including fuel, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Provide feedback to engineering on installation plans and lead small teams during the systems integration process.
- Use engineering and mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and systems schematics to complete work in the absence of manufacturer's maintenance publications.
- Maintain all airship maintenance records in accordance with current FAA regulations and participate in line maintenance activities during flight operations.
- Manage spare parts, consumable inventories, and tool control, and maintain all airship maintenance equipment, hydraulic power packs, maintenance platforms, and additional equipment used to support the airship.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
- 10+ years of aircraft maintenance experience with a concentration in Systems Integration on advanced research and development flight vehicles.
- Subsystem troubleshooting and maintenance experience on fuel, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficient in using engineering and mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and systems schematics to complete work in the absence of manufacturer's maintenance publications.
- Previous experience managing installation teams.
- Compliant with all environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
- Proficient in using calibrated tools, calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, and other hand tools.
- Proficient in operating man lifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and maintenance platforms.
- Familiarity with Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Sheets) and other basic technology.
- Ability to obtain a DOT driver's license.
- FAA Inspection Authorization (IA).
- Capable of lifting and transporting up to 50 pounds.
- Capable of sitting or standing for long periods of time.
- 200 lbs weight limit on the structure for the upper sections of the airship.
- Background check clearance.
- Drug Test clearance wherever applicable.
- Relocation assistance.

$45 - $55 an hour
The base range for this role is $30-50/hr, which is determined based on experience, geography, and qualifications. The base salary is one component of the total compensation package, which includes a very competitive annual bonus, 401K Match, and other generous benefits.
