Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain precise adherence to all weight and balance protocols.
  • Address all passenger service concerns promptly, aiming for effective resolutions.
  • Manage staff scheduling, foster leadership development, and uphold employee accountability.
  • Oversee all check-in processes, including managing reservations, ticketing, seat allocations, and ensuring compliance with international travel documentation.
  • Provide assistance to customers with special requirements and unaccompanied minors.
  • Operate jet bridges, which may involve working at heights exceeding 15 feet, approximately 2-3 times daily, while managing aircraft doors.
  • Interpret and apply aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material labels, loading manifests, and baggage routing tags.
  • Ensure safe and secure operations, adhering to the highest standards of health, safety, security, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Possess a positive, proactive, and enthusiastic demeanor.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Flexible availability for variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to comfortably lift and move customer luggage weighing up to 70 lbs.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods at ticket counters and gate check-in areas.
  • Exposure to respiratory irritants (jet fumes) is expected.
  • Successful completion of an FBI background check and obtaining a customs seal is mandatory.
  • Completion of initial new hire training, both classroom and on-the-job, is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with computer software applications is necessary.
  • Passing a pre-employment drug test is required.
