About the Role

Columbus Springs Dublin, a joint operation with Lifepoint Behavioral Health and Springstone, seeks a dedicated and compassionate Assessment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering compassionate behavioral health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and triage patients presenting for evaluation, ensuring timely and effective care.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide quality therapeutic care to patients with substance abuse, dual diagnosis, or psychiatric disorders.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team and on-call physician to ensure patients' needs are met, either on-site or through community referrals.
  • Interpret treatment plans to patients and their families, promoting understanding and acceptance of care.
  • Complete administrative tasks, including admission and precertification of care with external payers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Counseling, with relevant licensure (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, MFT, IMFT).
  • Current, unencumbered clinical social work, counseling license, or RN license, as per state guidelines.
  • Valid driver's license, favorable Motor Vehicle Report, and proof of insurance for personal vehicle use.
  • Ability to meet typing and keyboard expectations.
  • CPR and CPI certification within 30 days.
  • Prior experience in psychiatric healthcare, working with adult and geriatric patients, is preferred.
