About the Role

Raytheon is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Planner II to manage and lead the acquisition and manufacturing of test equipment. This role involves resolving test equipment and prototype manufacturing issues based on knowledge of engineering design, need, and final intended application.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and monitor the progression of multiple requisitions through the procurement cycle
  • Facilitate resolution of procurement issues and ensure items are delivered to meet customers' schedules
  • Utilize Engineering Manufacturing Management System (EMMS) to generate work orders, build/maintain indentured build of materials (IBOMS), and provide material/work order status to customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of two years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings related to electrical instrumentation, assemblies, cables, chassis, electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering lab environment area
  • Experience with material procurement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with test equipment or prototype engineering hardware
  • Experience maintaining configuration control of products and drawings
  • Experience interfacing directly with customers in an engineering/manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software and database applications
