Manufacturing Planner Early Career

Join Lockheed Martin Corporation as a Manufacturing Planner Early Career and contribute to the success of our Production, Planning and Control organization.
As a Scheduler or Bill of Materials (BOM) Planner, you will coordinate interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, contracts administration, and other teams. Your responsibilities will include scheduling and expediting the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, and requests for shipping orders.
This role requires travel and/or communication to all production sites and vendor locations. You may be required to work outside of the normal operating hours.
Relocation assistance is possible for this exciting position.
We are seeking a candidate with the ability to start no later than January 2025.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
- Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
- Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain security clearance; an Interim Secret is required before starting
Desired Skills:
- Prefer candidates with a degree or concentration in supply chain management, business analytics, or operations management but open to other disciplines
- Manufacturing Scheduling Experience
- Data Analysis
- Able to Understand and Interpret Engineering Drawings
- SAP Experience
- Supply Chain or Engineering background a plus
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
